X.mio5 D25

X.mio5 D25
ST 2110 dual 25 GbE network card for IP workflows from HD to 4K

X.mio5 D25 SMPTE ST 2110 network interface controller (NIC) card provides 25 GbE and 10 GbE interfaces for multi-channel IP video I/O from HD to 4K, with zero CPU usage. The X.mio5 D25 card features on-board multi-channel HDR conversions along with motion adaptive de-interlacing, pristine scaling, and powerful compositing engines for high-density 4K video processing.

The Matrox X.mio5 D25 network adapter offers complete ST 2110 offload allowing OEM software solutions to provide reliable and scalable COTS-based 10 GbE and 25 GbE IP solutions. This ST 2110 NIC offloads all packet processing required for ST 2110-20, ST 2110-22, ST 2110-30, ST 2110-31, and ST 2110-40, as well as ST 2022-7 redundancy, to free up system resources. With ST 2110-21 packet pacing built into the NIC, software solutions can provide guaranteed narrow senders (Type N) under all conditions independent of CPU load and OS interactions. The X.mio5 D25 ST 2110 IO cards also provide line-rate capture allowing for wide asynchronous receivers (Type A). The permissive wide asynchronous receivers and the ST 2110-21 packet paced narrow senders allow software solutions to guarantee universal compatibility and interoperability at scale.

X.mio5 D25

X.mio5 D25 also offers integrated hardware-based PTP support allowing for ST 2059-2 accuracy in the nanosecond range eliminating network jitter associated with COTS IP solutions. With built-in support for JT-NM TR1001-1 — including NMOS Device Registration and Discovery (IS-04) and NMOS Device Connection Management (IS-05), X.mio5 cards provide for seamless integration in ST 2110 environments.

With access to standard network functionality, X.mio5 D25 provides a complete comprehensive COTS solution for software applications to seamlessly transition from SDI to ST 2110 with no hassle and guaranteed success.

Unreal Engine Plug-in Support

With native support for Unreal Engine, Matrox Video’s ST 2110 NICs empower OEMs and system integrators to build high-performance, real-time virtual production workflows over IP. These cards support up to eight UHD or two 8K channels over 10/25/100 GbE. Matrox Video ST 2110 NICs support different pixel formats, including YUV 4:2:2 8- and 10-bit, and RGB 4:4:4 up to 12-bit—all with custom resolutions. The integrated on board PTP can be easily setup for the synchronization  of multiple display by taking advantage of the nDisplay and Inner Frustum Split feature in Unreal Engine to meet the demands of XR stages and in-camera VFX workflows

X.mio5 Series ST 2110 NICs can also provide eight channels of on-board Motion Adaptive De-interlacing to deliver smooth, progressive video to Unreal Engine from interlaced sources, ensuring consistent image quality for live and recorded content.
