Number of simultaneous routing operations 

300 simultaneous routing operations have been tested successfully. The more stream-switching operations that are requested simultaneously, the longer it takes to complete the full sequence. While a large simultaneous switch request may execute quickly, it may take upwards of 10 seconds for Web UI of ConductIP to reflect the new status of each connection.

Licensing options

ConductIP licensing options are sold separately from ConductIP appliance

• They can be installed at any time after the installation of the ConductIP base unit.
• Licenses are categorized by usage period as well as video port usage volume.
• A video port is defined as a single NMOS video sender OR video receiver.
• ConductIP can only support one license at a time (they are not additive). It is not possible to purchase multiple licenses to attain a precise volume node number.
• Audio/ANC data senders or receivers are not counted as part of licensing options.

License part numbers:

The license option part numbers reflect the number of video ports and usage term in years (i.e., CDCTIPL-50-3 is a license for the routing between 50 video ports for a term of 3 years).

The CDCTIP-MRA appliance comes pre-installed with an 8-port, 1-year license. Pre-installed license is activated upon creation of the first admin account.
