Matrox ConvertIP SDM is an Intel® smart display module that supports ST 2110 and IPMX inputs. Featuring two RJ45 and two SFP28 ports on a single device, ConvertIP SDM is designed for compressed or uncompressed workflows up to 25G and is optimal for zero latency applications. The device’s all-in-one design fits into displays and projectors, making it ideal for users that require the convenience and reliability of an integrated display solution.
IP to SDM
ConvertIP SDM is a receiver that slots directly into SDM-compatible displays and projectors eliminating the need for external receivers and extra cabling. Its integrated form factor simplifies installation, reduces clutter, and delivers a compact, all-in-one IP display solution, making it ideal for control rooms, corporate environments, live events, and any space where convenience, reliability, and performance are essential.
Multi-network support
ConvertIP SDM is designed with advanced networking capabilities to meet the demands of modern IP-based infrastructures. The device is equipped with two RJ45 (support for 1G and 2.5G) and two SFP28 (support for 10G and 25G) for media and control. It also has a 1G RJ45 port for an independent control network path, making it ideal for large AV installations where reliability and network segmentation are critical.
Compressed and uncompressed IP transport
Designed to adapt to various workflows, ConvertIP SDM supports multiple transport options for maximum flexibility:
Supports uncompressed HD and UHD streams over IP using SMPTE ST 2110-20 •
Includes the Pro AV codec for visually lossless compression up to 6 Gbps •
Optional JPEG-XS license for SMPTE ST 2110-22 support •
Transmit and receive audio using SMPTE ST 2110-30 and AES67 •
Achieves glass-to-glass latencies as low as 1 millisecond in both compressed and uncompressed workflows •

Integrated quad-split multiviewer
ConvertIP SDM is equipped with a powerful multi-view feature that allows users to display up to four HD signals on a single screen. With support for both compressed and uncompressed IP streams, an output can be configured in full HD or pristine 4K resolution.
HDCP support for protected content
With support for HDCP 1.4 and 2.2, ConvertIP SDM securely transports protected HDMI content over IP. This ensures compatibility with a wide range of source devices and displays while maintaining compliance with digital content protection standards without disruption.
