Matrox ORIGIN
Matrox ORIGIN is an asynchronous media framework that enables developers to build software-defined broadcast infrastructure on standard IT equipment, on-premises or in the cloud. Replacing bespoke hardware interconnected with synchronous protocols like ST 2110 or SDI, it uses media applications composed of distributed media services operating in a COTS environment and interconnected via an uncompressed content transfer fabric.

Compatible with Matrox Video’s DSX LE5/LE6 and X.mio5 ST 2110 NIC cards and SDI I/O cards, the plug-in supports both Windows and Linux platforms as professional media I/O, and key ICVFX features like nDisplay and Inner Frustum Split for photorealistic LED wall productions.
