The M264 family of cards replaces CPU-heavy software processing with full hardware offload for real-time, multi-channel UHD/4K encoding and decoding. Certified for Sony XAVC (including XAVC Intra Class 300/480, XAVC 4K Long GOP 4:2:2) and Panasonic AVC-Ultra, the M264 ensures compliance with industry specifications and seamless integration into professional production workflows.

Unified development with proven reliability

The M264 is fully supported within the unified Matrox DSX SDK for both SDI and ST 2110 environments, enabling seamless integration as a companion card or as a standalone solution. It can also be deployed alongside multiple cards within the same system to scale performance as needed. This unified approach simplifies development, allowing a single integration to extend across multiple products—reducing time-to-market and streamlining long-term maintenance.
