View and Test Monarch LCS' Video Encoding Quality

Below you will find two video source files (Full 1080p ProRes) that were used to encode with the Monarch LCS appliance in H.264 using its side-by-side production mode. The encoded sample files, each at different bit rates and resolutions, are also provided for you to download and view the results of the encoding quality for yourself. You could also use the original files to carry out your own tests, with any other hardware or software encoder of your choice, and see firsthand how well the Monarch LCS encoded video quality sample files fare in comparison. The source clips were played on a continuous loop and the Monarch LCS was set to capture a file duration of one minute in length.

1. Although encoding presets were set to 15000kbps, the Monarch LCS encoder does not pad to meet its quality threshold.
