High-density H.264 decoding

Matrox Mura IPX 4K Capture & IP Decode cards have been engineered to offer world-class, high-density H.264 codec processes.
Resolution HDMI or DisplayPort 1.2 capture and IP decoding of 4K, Full HD, or SD streams
Quality decoding through the support of desktop-grade, high-frequency content without requiring color space compression.
Number of streams for applications requiring decoding of a high number of streaming IP sources.
HDCP compliant
Mura IPX cards capture up to 4 x 4K HDCP sources from a single-slot card. Mura IPX can also pair with Matrox D-Series graphics cards to capture and display HDCP-protected content on ultra-large video walls.

Proven video wall ecosystem

Combine Matrox Mura IPX’s exceptional multi-channel 4K capture and decode capabilities along with Matrox Video’s various multi-display options.
-
Pair Mura IPX with LUMA Pro graphic cards to output up to 8x 8k60 or 16x 5k60
-
Pair Mura IPX with D-Series graphics cards to output up to 16 x 4K displays
-
Pair Mura IPX with D-Series graphics cards and QuadHead2Go™ multi-monitor controllers to drive up to 64 Full HD screens.
Dynamic system scalability
Through the integration of the low-footprint Mura IPX cards, video wall controllers, multiviewers, and personal video walls can be built to the scale required for specific projects. Optimized for performance, Mura IPX provides options to allow greater flexibility in integration while also offering enhanced thermal reliability.

Multi-source inputs for video capture

With four Mini HDMI or two DisplayPort inputs, Mura IPX can capture a wide variety of inputs, dependent on the number of sources and the display resolution required.
Direct memory access
Mura IPX series capture cards provide the ability to directly access system or graphics memory for a given application to obtain the raw data and perform a variety of processing operations —including analysis, warping, and rendering, among others.

Advanced video processing

Optimized to provide robust video processing functions, such as crop, rotation, flip, mirror, alpha blend, and color key, Mura IPX provides a canvas and comprehensive video toolset for smoother post-production effects. Through this functionality, inputs can be adjusted to suit the exact output needs of both in-person users and the remote audience.
Adjustable color depth & pixel transfer formats
Depending on the scenario, it may be advisable to subsample color to save bandwidth. Offering full 4:4:4 color to preserve full-color depth, Mura IPX also permits 4:2:2 and 4:2:0 subsampling to reduce bandwidth load where users will not be affected by the reduction in color detail.

Validated platforms

Matrox video wall products are supported in numerous non-validated, COTS motherboards and systems but a select few of these solutions have been thoroughly tested, verified, and validated by Matrox Video. Choosing a validated platform guarantees a high-quality solution to drive your display wall systems.
