Reconfigurable IO with onboard processing
The X.mio5 12G card delivers flexibility with 12 fully reconfigurable SDI I/O channels, supporting 4 12G inputs and 4 12G outputs. Each interface handles up to 16 channels of embedded audio, full HANC and VANC data, and can be configured as an alpha channel for efficient fill/key workflows in broadcast graphics and compositing. Featuring advanced onboard processing, including multi-channel motion-adaptive de-interlacing, 4 layers of 4K up/down/cross scaling, and real-time compositing engine, the X.mio5 12G is ideal for high-density, high-resolution live production. With 8K input and output support, it’s built to meet the demands of next-generation media environments.
High performance with ultra low latency
Engineered for maximum performance and stability, each SDI channel on the X.mio5 12G features an integrated frame synchronizer that aligns incoming video to the system genlock for clean, glitch-free switching. A high-efficiency DMA engine ensures direct data transfer over PCIe without CPU intervention, while onboard proxy scaling and pixel format conversion offload intensive processing from the CPU and GPU. Supporting sub-field and sub-frame data transfers to and from the host, the X.mio5 12G is optimized for ultra-low-latency performance, making it ideal for low latency media applications.
