X.mio5 Q25
ST 2110 quad 25 GbE network card for IP workflows from HD to 4K
Matrox X.mio5 Q25 SMPTE ST 2110 network interface controller (NIC) card delivers high performance 25 GbE and 10 GbE interfaces for multi-channel IP video I/O, supporting resolutions from HD to 4K with zero CPU usage. Designed for demanding broadcast workflows, it features advanced onboard processing including multi-channel HDR conversion, motion-adaptive de-interlacing, pristine scaling, and real-time compositing engine enabling efficient, high-density 4K video processing.
Complete ST 2110 offload and integrated hardware-based PTP
The X.mio5 Q25 provides full hardware offload for SMPTE ST 2110 standards including ST 2110-20, -22, -30, -31, and –40. By offloading all packet processing, including ST 2022-7 redundancy, the adapter frees system resources and ensure reliable, scalable IP media solutions over 10 GbE and 25 GbE networks. X.mio5 Q25 also offers integrated hardware-based PTP for ST 2059-2 accuracy in the nanosecond range, the hardware packet pacing ensures narrow sender (Type N) performance independent of CPU load or operating system activity, therefore eliminating network jitter associated with COTS IP solutions.
High-density IO with onboard processing
Supporting up to 4× UHD/4K p60/50 or 32 xHD inputs and outputs, along with 256 audio flows with up to 64 tracks each and 64 ancillary data flows, the X.mio5 Q25 provides exceptional density and flexibility. It handles both YUV 4:2:2 and RGB 4:4:4 with 8- and 10-bit precision, ensuring high-quality video performance across formats. With advanced onboard video processing including multi-channel motion-adaptive de-interlacing, up to eight layers of 4K up/down/cross scaling, and real-time compositing engine it’s purpose-built for demanding, high-resolution broadcast and media production environments.
Guaranteed interoperability for seamless ST 2110 integration
With line-rate capture for wide asynchronous receivers (Type A) and hardware-paced narrow senders, the X.mio5 Q25 ensures universal compatibility and interoperability across ST 2110 infrastructures. Field proven in demanding live production environments worldwide, it supports JT-NM TR1001-1, including NMOS Device Registration and Discovery (IS-04) and Device Connection Management (IS-05), enabling seamless deployment in ST 2110 environments while easing the transition from SDI infrastructures.
