SDI input/output video cards

Matrox delivers a full range of SDI IO cards that are designed for optimal performance, flexibility, and scalability. High-density SDI cards provide up to 12 reconfigurable inputs and outputs with support for SD, HD, 3G and 12G SDI for SD through 4K/UHD resolutions. The video capture cards share the same memory-centric architecture featuring high-speed transfers to co-processors, GPUs, and CPU memory. Some cards are equipped with video processing engines for multi-channel HDR conversions, motion-adaptive de-interlacing, pristine scaling, and powerful compositing for high-density 4K video processing. Built-in frame synchronization for each video input and fail-safe capabilities add the reliability to be able to deal with any signal or harsh environment that your solution might face.

Highest-density H.264 encoders and decoders

Matrox’s latest PCI Express encoder/decoder cards are ideal for broadcast distribution, contribution and production systems such as video servers, IP multi-viewers, high-density media encoders, and transcoders for on-premises and cloud-based deployments. Featuring onboard codecs, they offer unprecedented multi-channel H.264 4:2:2 10-bit encoding/decoding density and quality with the lowest power consumption. The onboard multi-channel high quality motion-adaptive de-interlacer and up/down/cross scaler allow content to be repurposed into any resolution, which is particularly beneficial for OTT workflows. Sony XAVC and Panasonic AVC-ULTRA formats are supported with real-time encoding and decoding to build multi-channel 4K production servers.
