ConvertIP DSS

ConvertIP DSS
SMPTE 2110 and IPMX to SDI transmitter/receiver

Matrox ConvertIP DSS is a compact, standalone ST 2110 and IPMX transmitter/receiver device. Featuring 12G-SDI, genlock, one RJ45, and two SFP28 ports on a single device, ConvertIP DSS is designed for compressed or uncompressed workflows up to 25G and is optimal for an ultra-low latency experience. The device can receive power over Ethernet through its RJ45 connection, or it can be powered through an optional power supply unit. Both can be used simultaneously to deliver power redundancy.

Flexible ST 2110 and IPMX monitoring and multi-display with ConvertIP Daisy Chain

Boost your monitoring capacity and lower your total cost of ownership by driving multiple displays using a single network port on your switch with Daisy Chain.

  • Send multiple streams from a single network port to daisy-chained ConvertIP units. Ideal to minimize the number of SFP links to switch.

  • Create monitor walls with 2, 8, or even 16 displays, each outputting unique content using a single fiber cable.

  • Support multiple uncompressed or compressed streams on 10G or 25G links.

  • Reduce port usage, SFP, and fiber requirements driving down total cost of ownership.

  • Ensure uninterrupted operation in case of network problems and localize impact in case of a single device failure with support of ST 2022-7 redundancy.

*Feature available on ConvertIP DSH, SDM, and DSS models
